Naming conflict for "Open" state
The state "open" means two things: an "open state" (as opposed to "new") and either "open" or "new." You should rename the broader meaning so that I can use the more narrow meaning to see what people are working on.

Would you mind giving a specific example? You can narrow results in a search with more specific queries, or rename the states as you please.

Yeah, I hadn't really explored renaming states. Maybe that's the solution. Basically I want state:open to mean "things I'm working on now." But the default behavior for it is to mean "things on my horizon."
