Split a Ticket into "sub tickets" or mini milestones or something

I run into the issue where a ticket is not specific enough to cover one issue.

so I would have to close this ticket and open 2-3 other tickets that are all part of this ticket, or even worst create a milestone and 2-3 tickets under... All that is a pain...

it would be awesome, to just have a split ticket button and provide separate parts to a ticket, or sub tickets. There are countless of ways to do this, and yes I understand that it implicates a big change in ticket handling, but it would be great.

We've been discussing the option of ticket dependencies which is a similar situation, but we're still kind of unsure as to the best way to handle such a change. At this point in time it's not at the TOP of the list, we have a few features and a lot of bugfixes coming up then we'll be pushing forward with ideas and suggestions like this.

Fast response. Thanks! Looking forward to the future. I'm sure we can figure out some kind of work-around using tagging or linking.
