"Create new ticket" button
It's great that you're working on the UI (yay!), but the inconsistency in the new location of the "create new ticket" button is really weird.

What do you mean by inconsistency? The fact that it resizes with the sidebar? or is a new project button on the account level and new ticket button on the project level?

The resizing is fine (or just the beginning of the problems, depending on how you look at it).

RE: look, my initial thought that it was unnecessarily heavy (design-wise) as it's pulling your eyes over to the button, when it's not a call-to-action that you're likely to interact with.

@Ask, @Robby - All valid points. One problem people were consistently reporting was difficulty finding the new ticket link. We decided to make it stand out a little more so it's by far the most performed action. I'll play with the design a little and see if we can tone it down a little while still making it obvious how you create a new ticket.

@Justin - that sounds more like a educate-train-hints-suggestions for new users issue.
At least in my case I use the navigation, search and update features much more than creating new tickets. (Like we have about a thousand tickets and who knows how many updates and then many more times we've browsed and reviewed the tickets -- creating them is the least of it).
