We have some UI and feature tweaks coming up around the new year that should take care of this.

I don't even know if I ever noticed this, but when you're in a project, click the little arrow next to the overview tab, it's gives you a list of the projects under that account.

We're working on final touch ups for a new LH UI which includes the project switcher. Fingers crossed this week.
