A Milestone Proposal

My company has about 10 developers. At any given time, we have a number of major features in progress, and typically each of us is focused on one or two of those major features. As far as I know, this is fairly typical.

Each feature is composed of many facets which map nicely to tickets. As I see it, the major features map well to milestones. However, right now Lighthouse gives a project a single project-wide "current" milestone. That milestone represents a feature which only one or two of us are actually working on, but everyone is stuck with it.

Here's my proposal: let each user choose one (or perhaps a few) milestone(s) which they're working on (or just watching). Those milestones become tabs and display their graphs on the sidebar.

As it stands, milestones are completely useless to us. We ignore them completely. I think the single-next-milestone model makes sense in many open-source projects, but honestly, I don't see how they're useful for any commercial projects bigger than two or three developers.

Thanks for the input. I'll bring this up when we are discussing new features. The milestone area is due in for some hefty UI tweaks in the near future.
