How to close issue submissions?
Hi Lighthouse,
We are migrating back to github (where we store our code) for issues, as it is better integrated with the code, contributions, etc.
How can I close our open-source project's lighthouse issue tracker from new submissions, but at the same time keeping the existing issues submitted on it open for viewing at the least?
Thanks,
Fil

Hey Fil. There isn't a way to do that for an Open Source project. If you archive a project, it's then private to those who have access to the account.

Hi Will,
Thanks for your quick reply. I did a search and couldn't find info about archiving a project. Can you direct me to the right place for documentation or provide more info about that?
Thanks,
Fil

If you edit the project, there is the option to archive it, which will remove it from public view and make it read only to account/project members.

Hey Will,
Can this only be done by the account owner?

Editing projects requires being an owner or admin, yes.

Hi Will,
My account is set as administrator status, and I also had the account owner check the project/sub-project edit pages. We have the first three radio buttons, but not the archived project radio button.
Our project is phonegap.lighthouseapp.com.
Can you assist? We want to archive all of our sub-projects.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Fil Maj

Ah, that definitely doesn't work when it's a Free level account, cause it thinks you are over your limit.
Sure thing. I'll archive those for you.

Thanks for your timely responses and help! 'twas a pleasure using Lighthouse for our open source project (we still do for private internal client issue tracking), but with GitHub having better issue support, it makes more sense to move back to GitHub for it.
All the best!
Fil Maj

Thanks. I've archived all the projects on http://phonegap.lighthouseapp.com/dashboard
