local use

Is it possible to create a completely local database on an intranet? We would use internally only - security policies do not allow data to be stored on a server on the internet.

    not entirely. We don't have the capacity to do local installs but we can set you up a private install on a dedicated server that connects to your VPN.

    .. so its still on "the Internet", just hosted at EC2 and only accessible to your VPN b

    For what it's worth, we are hosted on Amazon's EC2.
