I see several discussions on how to retrieve and sort by ticket priority. I do not see anywhere that explains how to create the priority when editing the ticket. Do you have to put a tag 0-10? I don't see a priority field anywhere

By default, Lighthouse does not support a priority based workflow. It's designed to avoid priorities and you can just sort/order tickets manually inside of a milestone. We built Lighthouse because we feel that priority based workflows are detrimental. Something is either important or it's not, there is no between.

With that said, you can enable a priority field inside your account settings, https://itrgroup.lighthouseapp.com/settings which looks to be enabled on your account.

You will not be able to edit a ticket and reset a priority, you have to update the ticket from the below form and change the priority from there.

I don't think I was clear earlier, what I meant by sorting tickets by priority is when I have "watched:me" I can click each column to sort in ascending/descending order, but I cannot click the priority header to sort. This allows me to see the high issues first.

    BTW,

Having a priority as "important" or "not" is sorting by priority, just have 2 instead of 3. That would be like saying I have a type-o on a secondary pop up screen should get fixed before the bug I can't print the report.
You have to have some sort of importance to get the product out the door. At least that's how I've implemented Agile projects (low priority go into the backlog)
