Email Updates not working?
Are email updates working? Subscriptions are set to email me but as i create new emails and ticket updates are created, not receiving emails. Email preferences set to "Receive email updates about all tickets..."

Email updates are working fine -- did you set a bad 'from' custom mail
address?

Not sure. Where is the custom mail address set? In a ticket's 'change notification'?
The 'notify these people' looks ok. For myself, my email address as defined in the user setup looks good.

I've checked the mail system, it all appears to be working fine.
You only get notifications of others' events on tickets, not your own
activities. Does that explain it?

Yes it does! Hmmm. Might be a decent feature request.
