I'm interested in signing up for lighthouse. What I'm looking for is a system for managing support tickets and also a public project manager, so that my customers can both contribute ideas to the project, and also see our progress. The only thing that looks like it may be a problem is the fact that youhave to register in order to create a ticket. my customers already have a main site and a forum to sign up to, and I'd hate to have them have to have so many account for one site. it there a way to:
a) accept tickets without needing registration?
b) register users automatically through the api?

Unfortunately, Lighthouse doesn't really function that way. A user must log in to Lighthouse to submit a discussion.

http://tenderapp.com may be a better option. It allows for anonymous submission or through email, and you can create Lighthouse tickets based off of discussions.
