Prevent duplicate tickets
Hello,
We have an automated error reporting system logging bugs into
Lighthouse (by emailing them in). Often, as you might expect,
multiple copies of the same bug/issue get logged. If it's a problem
that affects multiple people, there can be many copies of the bug.
Is there any way for Lighthouse to detect duplicate bugs and close
the duplicate copies as "duplicate"? This would make the system so
much more powerful for this type of automated error reporting.
Thanks!

No, Lighthouse isn't intended for this use. We've discussed adding something, but it's really much better if you track exceptions with something like Exceptional or HopToad (both of which integrate into Lighthouse just fine).
You can find and bulk edit duplicate tickets by using the search.
