Purpose of Messages

I was looking for a way to send out an email to all my team members and have it stored somewhere in Lighthouse. It seemed like "Messages" should do this, but there's no way to have it send out an email to anyone. Is there a better place to post this sort of information? What is the Messages section intended for?

Messages don't currently send out notifications, but we are going to be adding that function very soon.

I'll add this discussion to the request so we can notify you when it is finished.

Is this still in the pipeline? We would love to use Messages, but without sending notifications, they're are all but useless for us.

    Many thanks!

Yes, it is still in the pipeline, it's getting some design love and then we'll be testing it.

    Thanks for being patient!

Hey Randy, message notification settings and options were included in the update. There is an option to notify all members.
