UI Question

This might seem a bit dumb to ask, but my team has been using Lighthouse for about 6 months now–we love the platform and are "preachers" of the lighthouse model for application development. My question is simple, after browsing the front-end Lighthouse website, I've noticed that the screen shots in the "tour" section of the website look much better than the current interface we use on a daily basis. Is there some reason why were using a version that is not nearly as UI "pretty" as the one that is publicly advertised? We're huge fans of function over form, so don't take this the wrong way–it's more of a curiosity question than anything else. Are we missing a switch somewhere in our preferences? Thanks.

Lighthouse "2.0" has been a long term transition for us. We're always working under the hood on new features and improvements. A while back we made the move to a more simplistic design in order to provide a few features which are still in the works. The most notable of these would be custom color schemes, which required the redesign. We do need to replace the graphics on the main website though, it's just an area we fell a little behind on. Our apologies for that.
