Is there a way to print all open issues in a simple report?

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

You can export a CSV or Excel file from the project's ticket overview page. This will give you all current tickets and their current states. It doesn't give you all the comments, but should give you the information you're looking for.
