is there a way to prioritize non-scheduled milestones?
Currently it seems that milestones sort either by their due-date, or alphabetically. Is there way to do this other than the hack of pre-pending "1-" or "2-" or "3-" to the milestone name?

Hi Eric,
We currently do not have a priority field that is created for milestones -- we do have that for tickets, but not for milestones. Date and name fields are the best way to do that currently.
