Allow limiting GitHub commits to specified branches
Hi,
My team makes extensive use of the [#1234 state:resolved]
style comments in git commits. These git commits come from GitHub. The problem we run into is that feature branches also pass these comments to Lighthouse and modify ticket state.
Suggestion: Allow limiting GitHub commit comments to specified branches.
For example, I only want comments for commits that land on the "master" branch. A commit that lands on feature/ticket-1234
should not add a comment.
The biggest problem comes when these commits are in an early WIP stage, but the ticket cookie (e.g. [#1234]
) affects the Lighthouse workflow and state.
Thanks!
