Lion.
I am not interested in mail encryption, I want to encrypt and
decrypt files and send as attachments.
I can encrypt and decrypt my own messages fine.
But when I try to decrypt a file sent to me, right click, and
choose services, decrypt, I just get a message, “no
decryptable data was found” But the file was made with this
program. At the top of the message is the header,
------BEGIN MESSAGE----- Version: GnuPGP v2.0.17 (MingW32)

That is followed by the encrypted data.

Furthermore, I can't open and copy a file that I have encrypted
because when I click on it it is immediately is decrypted and then
opened. I can't copy the encrypted version. If I use textEdit and
choose open, the message does open, but it is not the properly
encrypted format. It is just random garbage with no
“Begin” and “End” message as is usual with
an encrypted PGP message.

Would someone please explain.
Thanks,

Daletag:help.lighthouseapp.com,2008-09-20:Comment/131127132012-01-24T17:20:54Z2012-01-24T17:20:54ZEncrypting & Decrypting files

Dale -
