embedding 2 images breaks email submissions
We had submitted this bug a while ago, and received notification that it had been fixed. However, it's not working again.
The bug is, in Google Chrome, we are embedding 2 or more images in an email ticket submission. If you do this, the ticket never gets created in the bug tracking system. If it's just one embedded images, it works fine.
Please note, we are NOT attaching image files. We are embedding the images in the email itself, which Chrome lets you do.
Could you please fix?

MIke -
Can you link to the ticket/comment where you're seeing this behavior? We'll take a look and see what's going on.
When you say you are "embedding" in Google Chrome, are you sending through Gmail or Web UI. If you can give us step by step what you're doing and what app you're using to send the email it will help us better troubleshoot the issue.
Thanks,
Nicole

Nicole, we are submitting the tickets via GMAIL. Here are the steps...we
heavily use gmail and a tool called snag-it for taking simple screenshots
and marking them up.
To do this, you must be using Google Chrome as your browser. The copy/paste
feature doesn't work in other browsers.
1. Start chrome, login to Gmail
2. Start a new email, and send to the bug tracking email address.
3. Use snag-it to take a quick screen grab of something on your desktop
4. Click into the email and use CTRL-V (paste)...it will paste the image
directly into the email.
If at this point you sent the email submission, it workd.
5. Now take another screen capture with Snag-it and paste the second image
below the first image.
Now, send that email in....it will not appear in bug tracking system.
Let me know if you need additional clarification.
Also, as a feature request...would be awesome if these images appeared
"in-line" when viewing the ticket in Lighthouse, versus showing up as image
attachments.

Can you link to a ticket where this happened?
Thanks,

The ticket never made it to the system...there is nothing to link?

Do you have the header information/subject line of the mail? Something we can search for? The address the mail was coming from?
Thanks,
Nicole
