New ticket
When I create a new ticket and doesn't assign it to any user, it automatically gets assigned to the first user listed in the select-box.
Discussions are closed to public comments.

Go to your project URL --> example http://activereload.lighthouseapp.com/projects/44-lighthouse-users --> sign in --> click edit project in top left navigation bar
The 5th setting down, you'll see a Default assigned user option:
