Hi guys,

I've just released my first iPhone webapp, http://hahlo.com it was built on top of the twitter api, while I was preparing it for release I was using lighthouse for managing things. I'm also using lighthouse to manage a couple of other things as well, and I love the simplicity of it all...plus its very easy on the eyes.

So I got thinking. Now that I've release Hahlo, I'm looking toward my next possible iPhone project, and at the moment I'm considering a simple interface for lighthouse, optimised for the iPhone using the lighthouse api.

I'm be really interested in hearing other peoples thoughts about this.

Congrats on a great app.

Bring it on! That'd rock. I'd have to go to the apple store and try it out.

A few interesting things: the black bottom bar doesn't stay at the bottom, it scrolls with the rest of the page. Also, the 140 character counter doesn't change while I'm typing.

On a side note, it's impossible to reply to topics on the iphone. It doesn't like the javascript.

Thanks for the feedback rick, I can't test these things myself (no iPhone in Australia yet) so I'm relying on all the feedback I can get to sort the bugs out.

I'm looking for a solution to the bottom toolbar problem, I'm using position:fixed, which works fine in firefox and regular safari, but the iPhone doesn't like it.

I'll have a look at the javascript for the replies and char counting, and see if I can work out which bits it doesn't like.

I've added them all as tickets ;)

    Thanks again

no more progress as yet, between work, uni work and freelance work I haven't had much time to put into it. But now that the iPod touch has been revealed to also include wifi and safari and is available in Australia I will at least have something to test on which should help when the time comes.

I'm more than happy for users to leave feature requests here for when I do find some time to work on this.
