Saving a search in tickets
I noticed in March 2007 another user asked when we will be able to save searches for our tickets. I customized my states, and the default searches in that pulldown are almost totally useless. How can I save my searches amongst tickets?

You've been able to save searches for a very very long time. After you run a search, there is a save option, which creates a ticket bin in the sidebar.

Ahh, I see it now. THanks!
My confusion was because I was assuming the option to save searches would be
located near the search area. I read the "Save searches in bin" as some
sort of weird "save this search as a binary search". Seems my brain farted
on this one.
That said, Lighthouse may also want to add a save icon or link near the
actual search area so that I can find the link in the search context, rather
than the other one.
