Support markdown as an option please
Hi
With textile, it's a big hassle to mention an HTML tag inside a paragraph. In markdown I can just do
<foo>
Any chance of Markdown support?

Actually, markdown is due in the near future because of it's html friendliness. Lighthouse doesnt actually use textile, its a lighter custom script which indeed resembles textile a great deal.
But there have been lots of request to expand it, and we feel markdown has many advantages in comparison. The old textile-like setup will remain in the system, but that's because the @@@ code feature is default in lighthouse, it's easy, works well, and is what people are used to.
