I'm fairly new to this application and so far it is the winner between 16bugs and porchlight because it integrates email and is very user friendly.

The only thing I feel is missing (although i may be the only one since i can't find any other requests for this on your forum) is better tracking of tickets via email. the flow that i think would work best is something like this

  1. i issue a ticket to my developer
  2. developer gets an email notifying him of bug
  3. developer fixes bug and sets issue to "fixed"
  4. i get an email that the developer is claiming to have fixed the bug
  5. i go back and verify that the bug is fixed to my satisfaction and set but to resolved.

That's my ideal communication string but a simple change of notifying me via email when my developer changes the ticket to "resolved" would be great.
