Automating Rolling Milestones/Snapshots?

I've found that the best way to prioritize tickets for my projects is to automatically create milestones every 2 weeks for up to 3 months in the future, and then a final milestone for unscheduled tickets.

So today for project X, I might have:

MSI1_April1 which contains all tickets that I deem necessary to be completed by an arbitrary cutoff point of April 1
MSI2_April16 ditto but for April 16

Then on April 1, something or someone should:
Create MSI7_July1
Move any tickets not completed in MSI1_April1 to MSI2_April16
Archive MSI1_April1
Reset the default milestone to MSI2_April16

I would assume that something like this might not be an uncommon idea. Has anyone implemented an automated way to do it? Is there a chance that lighthouse could implement milestone autocreation/naming logic to do this?

Otherwise, I'm sure I could cook up a ruby script to place in cron, but I'd rather not write new code if someone else has already done it or if ENTP would rather write/implement their own version of it.

Thank you.

Sounds like an ideal case for a simple script using curl.
