Tasks within tickets

I'd love to see something that made it easy to delegate, view, and complete (ie, check off) the various tasks that always seem to exist within a ticket. For example, if a ticket is something like "Add feature x to app...", it would be nice to create a sortable check-list, specific to just that ticket, of the tasks that need happen for that ticket to get resolved. Kinda like a to-do list within the ticket. Then, as you complete each of these tasks, just check 'em off, and finally, when there are no more tasks, mark the ticket as resolved or whatever.

    hey Dave,

    this exact idea is something I've wanted myself..! We are currently redesigning Lighthouse and so I'll add this feature to the list of suggestions.

    Awesome! that would be so great, and would save me from having to use an external (unconnected/unrelated app) for managing these related ticket-tasks.

    Since I love the way that Lighthouse integrates with Tender, I'm truly looking forward to the Lighthouse redesign! Its a nice duo that is already streamlining our workflow and customer support.

    I'm not entirely sure we'll roll this feature out exactly; we're doing
    things like beefing up milestones, adding machine tags, etc., ..
    still, the 'todo list within a ticket' would be super useful, if we
    can get the UI simple enough.

    yeah, simpler the better, if it does get pushed through in any upcoming release :)
