support of mail aliases for incoming email (creating tickets) ?

we are testing out lighthouse and generally are liking what we see. some of us are getting used to the lack of things like "priority", but appreciating your philosophies/discussions on said things. (we have seen similar ways in which "priority = 3" does not work.)

i have one question (so far!): can you assign mail aliases to the incoming ticket email? i have tried setting up "[email blocked]" to forward to the cryptic/robot incoming email address that is used to create tickets in one of our projects, and the emails never seem to generate tickets. (but tickets do appear when we send to the address directly.)

is this a feature which can be enabled? it seems like somewhere in the mail headers should be the resolved address (the long robot one) which could be parsed, but i like to be an optimist sometimes. haha

its not a "show stopper" for us -- i just would rather give my boss simple@email to remember, rather than asking him to add a cryptic address to all his address books in his email programs.

thanks much for your help and the fine product!

We do not support alias emails in Lighthouse. You have to use the unique email that is generated by the system.
