We use Lighthouse and Tender. Our users find it highly confusing that the Avatar icon is generated in different ways between Lighthouse (upload) and Tender (gravatar).

TYhere was a Ticket requesting Gravatar in 2008 but it was closed without comment.

Thanks for the feedback. We never really moved forward with gravatar support for Lighthouse back then, and Tender is getting an upload option soon due to a high volume of feedback about gravatar being there for regular users.

I'll pass your request along to the team.

    another +1.

Gravatar is really easy to implement as a fallback if a user doesn't upload an avatar. I've recently done just that for our website, took me less than half an hour. Seems odd to not support it, especially when tenderapp does.
