Bug History in Email
Hi, we've been using lighthouse for some time now for internal bug reports. The bug reporters tend not to log into the system and instead email bug reports in, and wait for responses from the developers via email. They've found this difficult as the bug emails dont provide a full history of the bug details (just the new comment). Is it possible to add more information about each bug in the emails?

That's a lot of wasted data for the majority of people though. If they're getting every email, wouldn't they have the history already? I've talked to several people that just use the email system and said it works great.
I wouldn't mind doing this for the first time that they email in to an issue, so that it could catch them up. I just feel like doing this for all emails would get us a lot of complaints.

Ah you guys appear to be using a mail client which merges all the previous email into a long conversation?
The problem is alot of our bug reporters are (very) non-technical users, many use outlook (which I dont believe provides for that at all?). They just use applications as they are and dont want to fiddling with them at all.
Is it possible you could add a setting to the users profile along the lines of "attach bug history to emails"? probably default to off. I could help the reporters set that much up and you would be accomdating for less powerful email clients.

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion. We don't have plans to implement this now, but if we receive enough requests for it we'll definitely look into it.
