The dashboard view obviously has all the latest activity and says "You've got 2 open tickets", but it would be great to have a list of my current open tickets too.

What about when you have 72 open tickets over 4 different projects? should it list the most recent ones somewhere?

I know several people have suggest various changes to the dashboard, but it seems like a pretty tricky thing to me. The play it safe thing seems to let it role as a general timeline of the projects you're involved in, and then you go into each project individually where it has a project dashboard, giving you the timeline for that project, only now you have your ticket bins and tags visible, so you can search and organize from there.

I had some ideas when I first started using the system on some sort of dashboard customization option, but now where I am on various lighthouse accounts and projects, it's a pretty tricky knot to figure out how to untie...and with so much content flow and trying to keep tabs, I have grown to love the timeline for a quick up-to-speed sort of thing

    Will,

how about just making that count of open tickets link to a list of all my open tickets in all projects so I don't have to trawl through all my projects to find out what I should be working on?

    Thanks,

I think we're going to add an account-wide ticket view for that to link to...

Though, I can then see the desire for an account-wide messages view, or an account-wide milestones view...

Account-wide ticket view would be high on my list, as well. We plan to use Lighthouse as a ticketing system for a number of projects, but its use would diminish if users has to click into each project in order to view open tickets.

I second David's opinion here. I've just joined a firm that uses Lighthouse to track its projects, and I would be much happier if I could use the Dashboard (or some other page) to view a list of my open tickets across all projects, grouped by project, sorted by date opened (ascending, I think).

Alternatively, show me how many of the open tickets for each project are assigned to me in the right-hand sidebar of the Dashboard, instead of (or in addition to, I guess) how many open tickets there are total.

We (Justin and Rick, I just read the chat) we're actually discussing this today. It will be some time before implementation of such a change is on it's way.

I used Yahoo Pipes and the Lighthouse API to give me some of the functionality I need as a quick fix, but a long term solution would be great.
