Search for ticket by number from "Go to a project..." box
I know the box is currently just for going to projects, but it would be really helpful if I could search across all project by ticket number in the box, to quickly go to a ticket that someone mentions.

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

We do have plans for this, it's just fairly complicated and something that when we complete it, it has be be 100% smooth before we can make it public. We'll probably be making a separate universal search field in the UI and having cross project searching. Right now we're setup for a big release of bug fixes and overall polish, then will come features such as that in the next phase.
From inside a project, you can use the search to bounce directly to a ticket though.
