Plain text view when updating tickets
It would be nice to be able to select to have a plain-text
textarea into which to update the body of a ticket. I
think that the code highlighting is great, but it is a real pain
having to count spaces to get the indentation right - at the
moment, I'm writing out the ticket in my text editor and then
pasting it in. It would be nice to get rid of one of these
steps!
Thanks for all the great work, Josh

Do you have a specific example? I don't quite understand what you're asking for. Which is probably a sign that I shouldn't be up at 4:30 in the morning...

Will, apologies - it looks like this might be browser specific. I've attached screen-shots from Safari and Firefox (which exhibits my preferred behaviour). Both
textareawere filled with exactly the same content. Thanks, Josh

So the actual spacing count is different? is it effecting the formatting once you edit/save then? I will try to replicate the behavior in the morning then pass it onto a developer to look at.

Well, in Firefox the font used in the textarea is fixed-width, meaning
that a , an 'i' and a 'W' will all take up the same width. In
Safari, this is not the case - an 'i' is much narrower than a 'W'.
This means that if I try to align code I've entered into Safari, the
actual indent, when displayed with Markdown will be much larger.
I suppose the solution would be just to use Firefox, but I believe the
web-fonts 'Andale Mono' and 'Courier' are mono-spaced, so perhaps an
option to apply this CSS style to the textarea would be cool. =)
Thanks, Josh
