evolving tickets

I quite often find myself in the following situation:

A ticket has been created for a feature/bug report, and marked against a specific milestone.

I fix enough of the bug / implement enough of the feature to make the milestone, but realise that maybe: - the bug fix is a workaround, actually a bigger refactoring is necessary, but it can wait till a later milestone - the feature is finished enough for now, but more work should be done for a later milestone.

In either case, what I want to do is: 1. mark this bug as done (so the "tickets fixed towards milestone bar" grows, and so I can record that this work was done for this milestone. 2. make there be a new ticket detailing the additional work that should be done. 3. Tie the new ticket & old ticket together, so that looking at the new ticket I can refer back to the context of the previous work, and so that looking at the old ticket I can see that more work will be done later on.

I can do this as it stands, but it's a bit tedious hopping around and pasting in links to tickets. It would be nice if lighthouse would help me out by having a button that does all that - resolves this ticket, creates the new ticket, and recorded the link between them somehow.
