Free account limitations?

I setup a free account for testing a couple of days ago and have yet to receive any email or feed updates. I searched the forum for notification not being delivered and none of those topics had solutions that helped me. Are those features disabled on the free account? Or do you need to use a specific mail/news client? Or am I just being dense and overlooking something obvious here?

Sorry about your troubles. Only account size and the number of members/projects is limited with the free account. All the features are functional, so you shouldn't be experiencing the problems you are having.

Any email address should work, although we've been running into a few problems with very specific @domainname email addresses.

I just checked the feeds on 2 different accounts and they appear to be working fine.

If you want, you can email [email blocked] with your account name and email address in question so we can see if something is out of the norm.

Ok, the feed does work but only in Firefox's Live Bookmarks thing or Safari feed overlay thing (not Webkit nightlies). In WebKit nightly it causes an endless loop of loading a little, then reloading, loading a little, reloading etc, into infinity (or at least until you cancel the loading). In Mail it asks for a user name and password and then just never ever picks up any feed items (manual update feed doesn't get anything nor does completely restarting Mail). So I guess I have abandon Mail for feeds (it's the worst feed reader in history anyway). I'll send a note to the address you mentioned about the not receiving email notifications.

Sorry forgot to say the feed works in both Newsfire and NetNewsWire. So it's really just Mail that is busted.

Well, that's good to know that it does work in more up-to-date readers. I'll look into where it doesn't work early next week and see where the problem lies. Thanks for the heads up.
