Creating a ticket when email address is part of a group

I've searched the archives so if this was asked already, I apologize. Ideally, we would like to have our users email a generic email address like issues@ or problems@ to open tickets. I have created the group and added the email address that I found at the bottom of our tickets page. I also added the sender email address to Lighthouse so it will accept the emails. When sending emails to the group, no ticket is created and don't get an error message of any kind. A ticket is created when sending an email directly, but not when it's part of a group. Can someone advise how I can get around this? I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

We're sorry, but Lighthouse does not currently support this behavior with email. LH is designed for small teams and open development. As a support system the email system would have to become a lot more complicated, especially with spam etc.

We but http://tenderapp.com to deal with this very request/problem with how Lighthouse functions.
