Can't edit profile due to 'Openid url has already been taken'

When I try and edit my profile (user ID 1147), I get an validation error 'Openid url has already been taken', although I haven't changed my Open ID URL.

I suspect this might be due to my having accidentally registered a second user account at some point in the past with the same Open ID URL. Or is anybody else having a similar problem?

    I haven't heard of any other issues like that lately. It's possible you had registered a 2nd account at some point and set the open ID in the profile.

    You had an old account that you deleted that still had the OpenID url set. You should be good to go now.
