Project member count not updating

I removed permission from a user on my project via the permission tab in "Access & Permissions". When I refreshed the page the user disappeared and I'm the only user visible but Lighthouse still says "You've used 2 members of the allowed 2" which means I can't add another user to my project. I waited 10 minutes and the count still isn't updating. How do I fix this?

    I've updated your account. You should be able to add another member to it now.
