    Michael -

The way what we use to power our searches processes "this week" and "last week" is a bit misleading. They are only equal to a single time/date. For example, you can think of "last week" as being equal to saying "this time last week".

What you seem to want is a range of dates and the search to accomplish this would look something like the following:

    created:"one week ago - today"

    or for "this week"

    created:"since Sunday"

The search queries can be very powerful with these and other modifiers but they aren't the friendliest. It's something we're aware of and working towards improving.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,
    Nicole
