Why can't I see notifications for tickets that I change?
I have integrated lighthouse tickets with Things GTD workflow
but there is a major flow in the system and that is if I make a
change to a ticket I don't get a notification for it which the mail
rules were going to use for marking todo as done, etc.

If you make the change, the logic is that you wouldn't need to be notified that a change was made, so none are sent to you. If someone else makes a change on a ticket that you are responsible for or watching, you would get a notification for that action.
Sorry for any confusion,
Nicole

I am sorry but I was not confused, I understand why it is done the way it is. I am requesting to have an option so that I can still get an email...
My GTD workflow is completely automated and would be important if I make an update to a ticket in lighthouse to have that reflected in my own tools. Not having that email in those cases brakes everything for me.
My thought is that you can add to the email preferences section of a person's profile an option (turned off by default so it doesn't change the current behavior) to send notifications to changes the user makes.

Andres -
We appreciate the situation you're trying to create, but this isn't something we're going to add to Lighthouse.
Thanks,
Nicole
