How do I change the due date on a ticket
It seems that to change a milestone date, I have to go through a convoluted process of adding the date as a milestone first. Is there any way of simply supplying a new date?

Wanda,
If you click on the project and then on the milestone tab, you will see a link that gives you an option to "move date". You can use this to move the milestone day forward or backward.
Let me know if this isn't the answer you were looking for.
Thanks!

But, if I do that, it seems I will be changing the date for every ticket that is due on that date. I simply want to give more time to a given ticket.

Wanda,
There's not a way to set due dates on specific tickets. You can only assign due dates to entire milestones. Sorry for the confusion.

Wow. This may prevent us using Lighthouse. It just wacky that I can't simply change the date on a ticket without changing the date for all other tickets that just happen to fall on the same day.
But thanks for your help.

Wanda -
Yes, sorry, tickets don't have explicit dates in Lighthouse. Milestones can have explicit dates (though you can have a milestone without a scheduled due date). You could create a new milestone and then move the single ticket to that milestone if that works better for your workflow, but ultimately the ticket is still not tied to a specific due date.
Let us know if you have other questions.
Thanks,
Nicole
