Search form submission is broken in Opera 11
I've been using Lighthouse, and recently I updated from Opera 10 to Opera 11. It seems that hitting Enter in the "Find Tickets" or "Go to a project..." text fields won't work to submit the form. Since there is no manual submit button for these forms, it is not possible to use search in Opera 11. Is there some sort of Javascript hook preventing form submission (Possibly caused by Prototype?), or this some sort of browser quirk that needs to get looked into by Opera?
Your input is much appreciated, since I'd really like the ability to do ticket searching without having to switch browsers just to do so. I've attached a screenshot circling the affected forms (and with client information blacked out), in case that clarifies things.
Thanks,
- Andrew Crowell

Andrew -
Thanks for letting us know about this and we'll take a look and update you as soon as we have a clear idea on whether it is a Prototype issue or a browser quirk. Opera isn't a browser we directly support but hopefully it will be something simple.
Thanks,
Nicole

Just as an update, I think you can close this. It was not a Lighthouse/Prototype bug, but rather some weirdness simply with Opera 11. It was apparently a bug where it wasn't allowing form submission with Enter in
<input type='search' ... />tags. This has since been fixed, when Opera Software released a patch for it.3 Posted by Nicole on 16 Feb, 2011 08:57 PM
