What provider do you use? DHH uncovered some bugs with the ruby-yadis gem that helped things with myopenid. I use Verisign PIP and AOL without any issues though.

I use Simon Willison's idproxy.net, which allows me to authenticate with my Yahoo account. Knowing Simon Willison's work, I would speculate that it was written in Python.
