Can't attach screen captures to tickets right now

I'm having problems attaching a screen capture to a ticket (for about the past 5 minutes). The image is a jpg, 214 kb in size. I've been attaching screen captures to other tickets all day - so this is a recent problem.

I have tried attaching the jpg at the time of ticket creation as well as adding it after - neither works. The text on the Lighthouse browser tab says "Connecting...." but it acts like it is hung - or otherwise not getting a response (no error messages)

    Hi Lyn,

    What kind of errors do you get, the ninjas? If so, try renaming your file so it doesn't contain any accent or non-english characters. We have a small bug related to filenames and a fix pending for it, but that should solve it in the meantime.

    If that still doesn't work, can you email me the file at [email blocked]?

    No specific errors at all. After several minutes (over 5) I finally got a couple of attempts to fail with a Problem Loading Page error (text below)

    The only non text characters in the file names are underscores


    The connection was reset
    The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

    The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

    I'm getting exactly the same behavior trying to attach a file via this form as I was trying to attach it via the ticket (2 minutes and counting and still says "connecting")

    Hmmmm - I'm wondering if this is more widespread. We've tried sending email with attachments via gmail, yahoo and outlook and none are working.....

    Okay - solved it - we had a network issue. Once everything had it's afternoon nap and snack (aka reboot) it's working okay.
