weird login issues with

I can't seem to login or recover my password from If I try to create an account here, it tells me my email address ([email blocked]) is already in use. However, any links to recovering that password do not work.

Oddly, when I came over here to, it DID let me create a new account with [email blocked] as email. It is that account I am using now to file this ticket, a newly created account I do know the password to. But using that known password and [email blocked], I still can't login to

I thought lighthouse accounts were supposed to be good across projects? Not sure what's going on.


I arrive at the Engines lighthouse home page, here:

I click 'create a new ticket', which takes me to here:

I click Sign In, which takes me to here:

I could swear that in past tries, there was no link or form here at all to recover a password. But reproducing my steps right now to document this I see that there is a form there for entering an email address if you've forgotten a password.

I try use it, by clicking on "Send Email", but nothing happens, it just keeps returning me to that page:

Unless it sent email without any confirmation?

Thanks for any help. I am using OSX Firefox 3.0.4. Not sure if any browser issues are to blame, I have been having weird behavior with my Firefox and cookies accross several sites. Perhaps my Firefox has become corrupted somehow? But that doesn't explain the same account not being good accross help.lighthouseapp and engines.lighthouseapp--unless this is intended?

    help.lighthouseapp is running off it's own database at the moment, as it's a separate application from Lighthouse

    The forgot password option will send you an email to your registered account containing an activation link, which will then take you to your profile page where you can change your password as needed.

    Nothing appears to be functioning incorrectly with lighthouse at the moment. I successfully logged in and posted a test ticket into your account.

    Did you not receive the forgot password email with the activation url?

    Hmm, thanks, I did receive the activation link (eventually) and it did seem to work.

    I still am having problems with login, I think that my Firefox for some reason has become corrupted with how it handles cookies. I have noticed cookie issues on other sites too. Guess it's not a lighthouse issue, but apparently a FF issue or something. Thanks.

    I'm currently using firefox on both my machines and haven't noticed any particular issues with Lighthouse, so indeed it sounds like a local issue you're having. Have you cleared out all your cookies? or reinstalled the browser?
