I've been working on a Python script that uses the Lighthouse API to create a more powerful email integration system. (I realize Tender has email integration but using Lighthouse alone seemed to be the better choice for my company). I'm happy to share the code --- is there a central place for sharing work that uses the API?

most users post their code to GitHub (http://github.com) but we'll be adding a shared/api/tools area to the new website when it is finished.

What exactly does your code do that's different from the current email system in Lighthouse?

It scans an IMAP account for messages (from anyone, as in a help desk situation, unlike Lighthouse but I guess like Tender) and creates tickets from them, or if the message is in reply to an email that has already created a ticket it adds the message to the ticket. It also scans for in-line commands to change ticket status, tags, etc., as with Lighthouse.

Well, let us know when you put the code/app up somewhere. We'd be more than happy to plug it and feature it on the new website when that is finished.

Very cool. We'll post it up somewhere on the new site when it's done. Probably in the next 2-4 weeks.

We always love to see nifty 3rd party tools.
