No Notification of API changes

I noticed that the Ticket API now returns "importance" instead of "priority" and as a result that feature in my app requires being changed.

Is there a way to be notified before the API changes to prevent breaking existing functionality?

   Hi Matthew,

   This is a mistake on our part. The API should have stayed backward compatible. We already have a ticket open for it. I'll see that we get it fixed this week.
