testing with curl using

curl -H 'X-LighthouseToken: xxx' http://myproject.lighthouseapp.com/projects/xxx/tickets.xml?q=tagged%3test

and I get a 500. Am I doing something wrong?

You need to add a Content-Type header to your request, telling LightHouse that you're "talking XML". I did the same thing. Just add "-H 'Content-Type: application/xml'" to your curl args.

    Still didn't work until I added -H 'Accept: application/xml' as well. Now I have curl -H 'X-LighthouseToken: xxxx' -H 'Accept: application/xml' -H 'Content-Type: application/xml' http://project.lighthouseapp.com/projects/xxx/tickets.xml?q=tagged%3awesome, but I just get a response like: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <nil-classes> </nil-classes>

I'm a fool, yet again. Sorry. The replacement for ":" is %3A not %3. This feature works like a charm.
