Change a Project's memberships

How can I change a Project's memberships using the API?

There doesn't seem to be a PUT equivalent of GET /projects/#{ID}/memberships.xml

I want to be able to add a membership returned from GET yoursite.lighthouseapp.com/members.xml to a project and/or remove a current membership from a project

   We don't have that as part of our API because user profiles are global, not account based.
